Development and
plasticity of the visual system in animal (hamsters, cats, monkeys)
and human (normal as well as cortical lesions and blindness) models.
Techniques used involve single unit recordings, neuroanatomy, optical
imaging, behavior, fMRI and PET.
Fetal alcoholic
syndrome in monkeys: behavioral genetics, anatomy and physiology. Our
work is supported by CHIR, NSERC, FRSQ and the Harland Sanders
foundation (research chair in vision sciences). |
